Silent Gliss has closed their US branch abruptly and without warning. This comes as a big shock to designers and window covering professionals everywhere, especially since they'd just released a brand new product, the 2730 Flex panel system. Silent Gliss are known the world over for their innovative electric curtain tracks using bendable aluminum rails. The Vision Window Coverings Expo is almost finished for another year. Held in Atlanta, this is a huge event not to be missed for design and window covering professionals. In our opinion, the most exciting event and most talked about after this weekend is the showing from Lutron. The Coopersburg, PA based company will be featuring it's latest products at the expo using it's 43' Mobile Experience Center. Basically, this gigantic bus is a travelling showroom complete with automated shade, curtain, and lighting controls.
